I’ve been away (not Awaye) all day and am just now catching up, but I want to briefly return to this whole organic/local thing:
1. Buying local is not necessarily better for the environment (http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/02/25/080225fa_fact_specter) since you need to take into account factors such as type of soil, fertilizer, water use, etc.
