I stay out of the statistical discussions since I don’t believe that you can price real estate that you purchase to live in in terms of standard deviations/means and mediums (different strategy goes for real estate as an investment). We had these discussions here over and over again. As long as emotions are involved in purchases of a place where you are spending part of your life (whether its a large or a small part of your life), most math goes out of the window.
Kens and CHiller – thanks for the welcome. I have posted before, though not very often in the OT. 🙂 as for Aug 6th, I work on Thurs evenings right now, so unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to make it.
