I’ll give my acceptance speech tomorrow morning…after I’m given my new tiara 🙂 It’s time for this Super PLUSA to head back to Brooklyn. Peace, Love and Chicken Grease 🙂
Arkady – a heckuva legacy indeed – but lots of people expect miracles from Obama. I remember the story of the woman who voted for him because she thought he would pay her gas bill. People might think, well hey, the economy was bad for the last few months of Bush’s term, why does it take Obama so long to get out of a recession? Every President inherits something from his (and someday her) predecessor – he’s still responsible for how he deals with those problems.
It’s going to take a few years for his policies to have any effect, hopefully in time for him to be reelected.
A demain!
