Some finance jobs at the junior to mid level will specify ‘MBA or CFA’, so it can be a cheap, if much narrower, alternative to an MBA. I majored in history at undergrad level and don’t have an MBA so it was useful for me when applying for jobs a few years ago.
Unless you are planning a career change from your current role into banking or asset management it is probably not that useful.
gemini- sigh- I tried that. I’m a biological failure :-(.Just didn’t have the plumbing so to any and all of my race, I apologize for not being able to contribute to the gene pool of the species. In my defense, I have helped the feline species however add greatly to theirs via never ending support and bits of fish. (I almost said chicken and thought- Horrors!)-
Honestly- some of them were better conversationalists than my last BF.
