I welcome what’s suggeston that what and DIBS take a bit of a break from their daily point/counterpoint. We all know where you both stand. There is new data to interpret every day, but that doesn’t mean the argument is going anywhere. It’s like repeatedly arguing over whether global warming is a manmade phenomenon based on each day’s temperature in Prospect Park. How about a monthly economic smackdown thread featuring what and DIBS? Then you can each marshall a month’s worth of trends and data and make your best case. And for the rest of the month, just hang out and keep it mellow.
