Gem…those are the folks I’ve been telling lately to get up so I can sit! You should see their faces! So far no one has told me no. By that point in the day though I look so worn out and angry that they are probably afraid I’ll b@tch slap them with my cane if they don’t get up when I tell them to!
Dibs – I cannot WAIT for the Julia Child movie with Meryl!
ok another PET PEEVE about mass transit and manners:
On the bus – I was taught to ALWAYS sit in the middle or back so that the front seats are vacant for older folks etc etc
It annoys me to no end when I see able-bodied people sitting in the front part of a bus and watch blankly when someone old or disabled needs a seat have to stumble towards the back of the bus!
ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
deLepp, yes, that was a great parody. And I remember Julia actually commenting on it and enjoying it. Remember the one they did on the “Two Fat Ladies?” Also hilarious.
I have to agree that Caroline’s description of her father-in-law’s demise made the Soprano story even more credible.
On the other hand, I also sympathize with them because there is a possibility that it could all be a coincidence. I grew up in the projects, dominican and I’ve never sold drugs…they could be telling the truth!! Maybe!!!
Biff, you didn’t wear your monkey suit this time around?

dibs, a hoot indeed, ah the 70s, inflation, gas lines and snl
Hi Bxgirl! I am a good kind of busy these days…but damn…now when I say TGIF, I really really mean it!!!
“Biff – I didn’t notice that you had much surplus.”
Thanks Arkady.
Perhaps my tight, wannabe hipster jeans hid it well.
