Asshat query: do your friends and families know you post? Do they know your nom de brownstoner? How much do you mix your real and cyber lives (to the extent you have real ones)?
For me, I’ve been keeping it somewhat separate. My wife knew I was active but didn’t know my ID until the NYT published my exchange with Montrose. One friend who lurks figured me out (she actually busted me to my wife), and I disclosed to one other. Not sure yet why I keep the two so separate — personality quirk or valid reason. Thought I would ask what you all are doing.
Lou Lou used to be a good neighborhood place. I read the owners moved to NJ four years ago – once owners are no longer around all the time places start to slip. It was no longer any good and had the look of a place that was going out.
I think PLUSAs are on strike. I am here but no one else seems to. Maybe Kensington is too far off from Brownstone Brooklyn and we didn’t get the memo yet.
