  1. Pisk an unemployment number, any number. The majority of Americ is still employed whether that number be 90% or 85%. Do you know what the unemployment data for white collar looks like??? No, I thought not. it has slipped from 2% to about 3.5%.

Long live capitalism and the American dream….

  2. hmmm okay maybe i do. someone graffitied my building as well as the brick wall next to the TD bank on the corner of 5th ave and 1st street. it’s also really stupid graffiti with no style whatsoever. cheap silver spray paint to boot. it’s been there for about a week now and no one seems to be removing it. the thing is that i sorta kinda like graffiti, but this is so bad that it’s irking me for some reason. also given it’s a corner building on the lot of the bank parking lot, if they dont clean it up soon it’s likely to attract more graffiti right? i mean, i dont care all that much, i guess. it’s still ugly tho.

  3. I’ve got a rant…(this should actually excite Dave)…When riding the subway and the car is not overly crowded, there is no need to stand so close to me that your package is in my face and I can easily see that you ‘dress left.’ ARGH! This late 20 something guy (looked Latino Dave!) was wearing tight jeans so that his super large package was extremely evident in his pants. Yuckola! Sorry Dave, I didn’t get his # for you.

  4. “What…pull your head out of the sand. There never was a war. The skirmish in the financial markets is on the mend. Yes, housing will be the slowest to recover because of the illiquidity as an asset class.”

So Dave I can use this statement inn a few months? Are you sure “markets is on the mend”? Funny Banks have not addressed the Foreclosures and Charge Offs.

“Credit-card profits have been under pressure this year as the jobless rate climbed to 9.4 percent in May, the highest since 1983. Overdue payments historically rise and fall with the U.S. unemployment rate because consumers are more prone to default when they lose their jobs.”

Unemployment is up 45% from Oct 2008 Dave. Where is the recovery?

  5. “I don’t really drink beer DH. How can you be fat though? I thought it was the law for hipsters to be skinny?”

Good thing i’m not a hipster!

I also don’t do mass quantities of cocaine like hipsters do.
