DH, half joking & half serious. go fall in love with a girl who has a no-smoking requirement and you’ll quit easily. if you cant find the reason & strength to quit for your own sake, quiting for someone else is not a bad idea.
When I quit in 2005 I used neither, but I’ve given it up many times without trouble. Nicotine never grabbed me the way some stuff did.

All cash. Want to be half cash, half gold (and maybe other commodities) but haven’t put in the time to research it yet. Goldmoney? PERTH? Storage? Bar dealers?
Soon. All talk for now. Busy with child, 9 to 5 and looking at starting a business (they’re giving stimulus money away).

DIBS, not losing $$$ in that stretch is pretty good too. A lot of people lost 30-50% during that stretch and not sure how much this 09 rally has recovered for those portfolios
If someone cashed out of real estate and bought gold in 1Q 2008, they haven’t made any money in it.
