  1. Yeah infinitejester – I’m thinking I could probably do it coldturkey, but I don’t wanna take up twinkies, or something else unhealthy to replace the nicotine.

    haha m4l – you’re such a romantic.

  2. DH, half joking & half serious. go fall in love with a girl who has a no-smoking requirement and you’ll quit easily. if you cant find the reason & strength to quit for your own sake, quiting for someone else is not a bad idea.

    Among the worst…

“New York City, too, once the capital of finance, is now saddled with Wall Street-induced unemployment and homes that are completely unaffordable for most of the region’s residents. The NAHB’s Housing Opportunity Index reports that only 14% of homes in the New York-White Plains-Wayne area are affordable on the area’s median income–by far the least affordable region measured by NAHB.”

  4. I know this has been discussed in depth before – but I’ll ask again…

Thinking of quitting smoking very soon – anyone who has done this, did you have success using the gum, or patch?

  5. “BHO, how are you positioned to avoid & profit from this disaster? Most of your $$$ in gold bars?”

All cash. Want to be half cash, half gold (and maybe other commodities) but haven’t put in the time to research it yet. Goldmoney? PERTH? Storage? Bar dealers?

Soon. All talk for now. Busy with child, 9 to 5 and looking at starting a business (they’re giving stimulus money away).

“If someone cashed out of real estate and bought gold in 1Q 2008, they haven’t made any money in it.”

Gold is long, DIBS. You know that. It will see $1,600/OZ before it crashes.
