cobble- nor me -I haven’t been to Sahadi in a long time.:-(
But yes- another outing is called for!
I get literary quote of the day on igoogle. Yesterdays was this :
“Men think highly of those who rise rapidly in the world; whereas nothing rises quicker than dust, straw and feathers.” Lord Byron
” We stood in front of Elias Howe, the inventor of said sewing machine, and I didn’t pay homage, or curse at him (depending on mood).”
Yes, another trip is required! And we missed Leonard Bernstein, even though we walked right by! And I want to venture forth to the far side — perhaps start from that side next time. So much to see, so little time!
Not you? Hmm, maybe more people than we realize are ‘strolling about’ at Greenwood! : )
Another fallout from the financial tsunami appears to be the price of daffodils. White Flower farm is offering their naturalizing mix at 100 for $49.00. Order by July 1 for Fall delivery.
Cobble – wasn’t me at Sahadi’s. I’ve been here chained to my computer and to my sewing machine. That is interesting, however. I would like to go back. We stood in front of Elias Howe, the inventor of said sewing machine, and I didn’t pay homage, or curse at him (depending on mood).
Denton;
Did you see in the restaurant round-up that Tempo is closing?
Worst news to come out of Park Slope! Best place in PS, IMHO.
