ah see jester has it right. you know now that i think about it, drinking and doing laundry is probably why i would always lose socks and sometimes completely forget to take out a load or two to begin with!
snappy do what i do (seriously) bring a 40 to do laundry. i guess it’s different if you dont have one in your building, but ive brought 40s and sometimes gatorade with a little somethin’somethin’ in it to pass the time when i did have to use laundry. in my building now the laundry is right out the door in the courtyard so i just bring a 40 but most of the time come back in. the only place i ever got my laundry done for me was when i lived in harlem because the laundry room in our building was overtaken by a group of old ladies who turned it into their own fluff and fold. people couldnt do their laundry in it, they had to give it to them AND pay them to do it. wtf? hahahah.
and the regular laundrymats near me there was also soooooo packed.
my grandmother didnt believe in washing her own clothes (which is very strange considering she was / is poor) and would always drop off our clothes to get done. i had no idea how to wash clothes when i get to college. i still do it the same way i did back then. no separation of colors (what a waste). things come out fine. gross i used to do my ex’s laundry most of the time (he cooked) and he used to bitch and moan non stop about it. i always lose socks he thought i was doing it on purpose cuz i was “jealous of his socks” he actually said that. who gets jealous of socks?
hi im here! had an extremely busy morning getting botox injections and browning my irises. ahha.
hmmm. well the patch thing. eh, im going to give it another go on friday. it was making me nauseous and i puked like 5 times at work yesterday. now im replacing everytime i want a cigarette with the nicotine gums. seems to be working, but i did have a few smokes last night and just two so far today. but that’s better than the 20 ive had had in those hours. sorta feel like a failure, but i need to prepare a little better for a good quit date. im going to try friday so i have all weekend to get used to full feeling of being on the patch and not smoking. yeah, bad that im half assing it i guess.. thanks for the concern tho 🙂
and damn i totally forgot to watch housewives of nj. was it on yesterday? so that 11th grade girl did wind up failing? and she got a car for it? dont these parents know what kinds of adults these kids grow up into when they do this!?
*rob*
Dude, I’m a broke @ss renter and other than my ‘unmentionables’, I don’t do my own laundry. I pay to have it picked up, sorted, washed, dried, folded and delivered back to me. Believe it or not, it’s cheaper than doing it myself. Even if it wasn’t cheaper, I’d still send it out as I hate sitting in the laundromat for hours on end. I spend that time cleaning my house so it’s kind of like multi-tasking for me.

LOL jester. I remember a laundramat in Chicago that was actually part of a bar. It was always crowded.
Doing your own laundry is easy when your preferred place is next to a bar like mine is!
