  1. yeah kens – i wonder when they bought the space. is it a difficult process to getting a commercial property certified residential?

forget brownstones, my new dream pad is a pimped out gas station loft

Shhhh….I am working on my free drinks at the next gathering. What can I say, it’s a tough economy out there.

  3. Benson, yes, I spoke pematurely, b/c I also missed yesterday’s OT.

Mopar — don’t do the Beacon diner thing unless the price is really, really low; Beacon is hurting right now. The cutesy shops are starting to close. Dia Beacon is still going strong, but the first wave of downtown artsyfication was a bit too much too soon, given the downturn.

Great painted ladies on a sidestreet in Beacon near the train station, though. Fishscale siding and multi-color trim galore. Now, if you want Hudson Valley’s answer to Bushwick, check out Peekskill.
