Yeah – I’m not too worried. I have a pretty good sense of direction. As i recall there’s an entrance to the BQE at the beginning of Atlantic Ave.
Yeah Dave – taxi drivers can be really annoying sometimes. they get testy when I’m coming from uptown, and rather then having them go all the way down to the williamsburg bridge i have them take the queensboro and cut thru long island city/greenpoint. it saves about 5 bucks on the fare.
DH, worst case scenario: they have a bunch of black car services around, including one on Atlantic right by Waterfront Ale House. You’ll get one there for sure.
“Sorry, I’ve been unable to login for about 40 mins. I actually had thought that life had ended.”
Gosh, all of you are really pathetic losers!!
Am I the only one working today??
“Or you might get lucky and be able to hitch a ride with the BRG Express!”
HEEEEEY!!!!!
Are you insinuating something perverse here???
Sorry dh, I might not be there tonight, as I can’t find my clear plastic pumps (This party girl doesn’t leave the house with out them). So you might have to find another ride.
dh…I learned years ago how to deal with taxi drivers when I lived on East 54th St and always told them that I wanted to take the 59th street bridge from LaGuardia and not the triborough. I heard a lot of bullshit about the bridge being out and 2nd Aveneue being closed!!!!
“one more comment and you won’t get any tip” usually works.
Cool – although yellow taxis like to play dumb when you get one obvi going back to the bridge to Manhattan, and you’re like “oh no you don’t! we’re going intra-brooklyn!”

Rob, my GP is in Soho, Dr. Brian Meehan. He’s on Spring and 6th Ave. He’s a noted, “Hot Doc.”

Did any of you see Law & Order: Criminal Intent last night with all the lame hipsters living in makeshift rooms in a Brooklyn loft space???
Can we have a designated PLUSA twitter us all in the event of an emergency and we have to reconvene somewhere else?
DIBS, do you always panic this much when something goes down for 40 minutes?*
(A round of re-writes on me)
