After last week’s CB2 meeting, it seems as if Vinegar Hill will be making way for one more eating establishment, an offshoot from the neighborhood’s one and only restaurant, the Vinegar Hill House. CB2 just approved a beer and wine license for 70 Hudson Avenue, the under-construction storefront next door to Vinegar Hill House. According to their board presentation, it is going to be a cafe. superfine is gross. better off at j bar or rebar or even that weird place by st anne;s
Reservations=civilization. Nice.
A cafe there should be great.
superfine the greatest, but VHH packs em in….
Drinks at superfine ya. The food though is overpriced and really mediocre. Love that porkchop at VHH. I did not and would not however wait 2 or even 1 hour for it. Reservations=civilization.
“All the action is at Superfine. My DUMBO friends talk only of that place.”
yeah – that’s where i always end up.
All the action is at Superfine. My DUMBO friends talk only of that place.
smart to stay close… a lot of us were working on them for other areas of VH and dumbo…. smart
nothing more disappointing than making the trek to VHH, being confronted with a 2+ hour wait and having to hang out in DUMBOring for the evening.
