Reclaimed Home had a post about how a new wine store called Breukelen Cellars is opening today on Nostrand between Halsey and Macon. The site is happy about the addition to the neighborhood: “Who needs to go to Clinton Hill or Stuyvesant Heights for a decent bottle of wine? Not those of us here in southwest Bed Stuy!” According to an email we received this morning, the store was set to open at 12:30 p.m.

This is a great addition to Bed Stuy and is another example of a boutique wine shop opening in an underserved neighbourhood…the last one that comes to mind is 65Fen in PLG.
