A restaurant serving up New American food is moving into the former home of Anima Italian Bistro, at 460 Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill. The restaurant, which hasn’t decided on a name yet, applied for a full liquor license with Community Board Two last month and hopes to open by December 1. The restaurant has a backyard, but will not be using it. The inside space can seat about 70 people. The owner, entrepreneur Rich Winter, runs a restaurant consulting firm called BrightRize. Anima occupied the storefront between Waverly and Washington until last spring, when it shuttered and said it was “closed for renovations.” We also heard the late Colin Devlin, who founded DuMont, had planned to open a restaurant here.  GMAP
