A reader drew our attention to the fact that a new parking garage has just opened near the second phase of 225 Pacific Street, on Boerum Place between Atlantic and Pacific. The monthly special advertised is $199 and the all-day special is $9.06/hour any 12 hours. Sound like a deal for that area? GMAP

It’s a good deal, but because of the traffic patterns there getting out of that garage and pointed toward Manhattan could take several extra minutes compared to most of the nearby garages. Good if you mostly drive south.

Sounds like a deal – I pay more than twice that at 75 Henry.
There’s also a Hertz car rental in there, equally well hidden.
Very much a deal. I can’t imagine that $199 is for unlimited monthly parking–most of the open lots in the neighborhood charge a little more than that, and the garages way more. Or if it is, it’s a “teaser” rate that will go up within a few months.

Is that $199 rate if you leave your car there monthly or is that if you pay monthly to park during business hours?
Nice and inconspicuous (“PARK” sign could be more decorative). Suprisingly reasonable rates. Low vacancies. Garage next to the ‘Y’ can’t be happy.
