Cobble Hill Park Rat Problem of 'Epidemic Proportions'

While people who live near the Atlantic Yards site say they’ve had to deal with a “rat tsunami” recently, some residents near Cobble Hill Park are complaining that a longstanding rodent infestation in the park has gotten much worse this summer. According to Patch, people near the park say the rat problem is at “epidemic proportions,” with dozens of rats appearing at dusk and rat holes dotting flower beds. One park-goer says the rats are “brazen” and aren’t scared of people.
