According to a note that has appeared in the window of 276 5th Avenue in Park Slope, Naruto Ramen is scheduled to open tomorrow. The opening marks the first outer-borough expansion for the Upper East Side eatery, which serves three different noodle choices with different curries, gyoza, and fried chicken. Yelp commenters seem to like the original place, especially the cheap lunch specials and the simple menu. We previously heard this would be another sushi joint, but a noodle restaurant is a little more more exciting, don’t you think?
it was open tonight.
it was open tonight.
I didn’t tell her, Rob. I was just saying she’d also think it was expensive.
She couldn’t give 2 rats asses about a new Ramen place in my neighborhood. 🙂
wait, how does she even know that some ramen place is about to open in park slope and charge 650 for ramen? do you call her and tell her about these kinds of things!? hahah cuz im kinda picturing it that way.
when i talk to my grandmother i tell her that i live in a nice area of brooklyn where everything is super expensive and im broke all the time. all she cares about is that im still not living in harlem. she could give a crap about the amenities here.

Rob, funny thing is that you and my mom would totally get along.
She’d also think $6.50 for ramen was preposterous.
