Muss Development has officially sealed the deal with city for the space in 345 Adams Street that the firm intends to lease out to big-name retailers. Muss paid the Economic Development Corporation $5.77 million, according to public records, for the 35,000 square feet over two floors that the company is putting $18 million into renovating. Muss says it wants to lure two high-end tenants to the space, which until recently was mostly occupied by some Department of Finance offices. (The image above is what it’ll look like after the rehab.) 345 Adams is next door to the Marriot and the future Morton’s Steakhouse.

i love it.
This is the building that underwent a lengthy facade repair – and when the scaffolding came down it looked liked nothing had been done.
CITARELLA
Barney’s COOP – GREAT CALL! If I could only shop in one store and had unlimited income that would be it! Would also not be opposed to any of the various home stores that you have to trek into Manhattan for (Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, etc.). Also, ifs there a Sephora in Brooklyn anywhere?
12:18 – I believe that would be called sarcasm
12:04, care to expand on that?
yet another example of how Metrotech is a failure…..
How about Apple Store and Barneys COOP?
This is good news for the area. I hear they are pushing away typical tenants like Staples,Duane Reade and seeking something better. Certain a top spot for APPLE. Or better clothing store.
