“This is not another hipster-Brooklyn movie,” says Williamsburg-based filmmaker Elisabeth Subrin of her narrative film A Woman, A Part, which tells the story of an actress who flees Los Angeles to squat in her old rent-stabilized Brooklyn apartment. Subrin is seeking funding for the film via Kickstarter; watch her campaign video, below.
