Citigroup reports $134.8 billion in ‘level 3’ assets
By John Spence
Last Update: 8:28 AM ET Nov 5, 2007
BOSTON (MarketWatch) — Citigroup Inc. (C) in a quarterly regulatory filing Monday said its so-called level 3 assets as of Sept. 30 were $134.84 billion. Level 3 assets are holdings that are so illiquid, or trade so infrequently, that they have no reliable price, so their valuations are based on management’s best guess. The investment bank said its total liabilities related to level 3 assets at quarter-end were $40.36 billion, according to the Form 10-Q. Citigroup said it often hedges its level 3 positions.
The What
Someday this war is gonna end…..
Here’s an idea Schminsky–YOU get the LPC approval for the 3-story addition and sell the carriage house with approval in place.
I am certain the architect knows full well he’s lying through his teeth. He was probably nudged by the seller/broker in order to make that tiny HALF carriage house more desirable. Highly unethical.
It was the architect who blithley said that LPC “looks kindly” on these types of additions, not Minsky. But still a ludicrous idea. I’m guessing he’s appeared before LPC as many times as my grandmother in Iowa.
The chick in the pic is obviously posing.
The mansion part of the Wash. Ave deal is listed for $250K less with Best Apts.
Beautiful light in the photo this morning. Nice!
