‘Not One More Death’ Mural Fundraiser
Tonight join Transportation Alternatives and the Groundswell Mural Project to raise money and awareness for their “Not One More Death” mural that’s in the works for the a stretch of Third Avenue. The mural’s centerpiece will be a likeness of James Rice, a four-year-old who was run over by a Hummer at the intersection of Third Avenue and Baltic last February. Tonight’s gathering will include a mural preview at Third and Butler at 6:00 followed by refreshments at Sheep Station at Fourth Avenue and Douglass. The suggested donation is $50.
