Atlantic Yards Forum: UNITY
Today, September 24, attend two presentations from UNITY: A Better Way to Build at Brooklyn’s Vanderbilt Yards. The press conference at 11:00 a.m. features project designers Marshall Brown, Ronald Shiffman, and Dr. Tom Angotti. The 6:00 p.m. community forum includes a Q&A session with Brown and Dr. Angotti. Monday, 11:00 a.m. press conference; 6:00 p.m. community forum. The Soapbox Gallery, 636 Dean Street, between Carlton and Vanderbilt Avenues.

Atlantic Yards Forum: Dean Street Block Association
Tonight, the Dean Street Block Association hosts an Atlantic Yards forum at Immanuel & First Spanish Church. Discuss with Department of Transportation representatives the expected effect of the Atlantic Yards’ construction on quality of life based on the Final Environment Impact Statement (FEIS). The forum will ask local politicians and community leaders to develop a system for addressing these concerns. Monday, 7:30 p.m. Immanuel & First Spanish Church, 424 Dean Street.
