The Malcolm X Farmer’s Market is now open every Saturday in Jackie Robinson Park. They have fish caught that day, organic blueberries, raspberries, youth cooking demonstrations, eggs, hamburger, and steak from Afrikan Zion Farm, J and R Farms, and Bed Stuy Farm Stand, among others. The market started July 13 and will run through October 26. The hours are 8 am to 3 pm at Malcolm X and Chauncey. GMAP

If only it had more than three or four vendors! If only it were a real place to buy fish and veggies!
But the frownstoners here think local/organic meat and veggies is a white yuppy thing! This is gonna hurt the stereotyping.
