I don’t begrudge Kaufman his success, but frankly, not an attractive building.
I think for the holidays they should start with red lights at the top of the thermometers, and “raise the temperature” every day by lighting the floor below!
Not sure this would even sit well in Miami where trash architecture is the norm.

This building looks alot better in person.
It’s the shape of the building for one, not the colors of the glass panels.
I find Mr. Kaufman’s statement above to be more mature than this “amen choir” thread. He simply states his case, and is content to let folks either like it or hate it.
I also imagine that Mr. Kaufman is content that enough people like it so that it is now full.
OK, you can all go back to the amen choir. I suggest that the next poster do one better than Stargazer. How about 15 exclamation points?

This building would blend in nicely along Crossbay Blvd in Howard Beach, or even better….Brighton Beach.
