The holidays are sneaking up on us, which means an annual Brooklyn Heights tradition is back to kick off the festive fair season.
The Danish Seamen’s Christmas Fair offers Scandinavian design, ornaments, knitwear and other treats to gift, as well as some traditional Danish food to satisfy your taste buds amidst the shopping. This year, the tasty goodies will include æbleskiver (sort of an apple popover), hot glögg, smørrebrød (open-faced sandwiches) and baked goods.

The free market is open on Saturday, November 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. It takes place at two locations in Brooklyn Heights — the Danish Seamen’s Church at 102 Willow Street and at Plymouth Church at 57 Orange Street.
