More than a dozen of Brooklyn’s jewelry designers are gathering at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for a market to promote the borough’s artistry.

Organized in conjunction with New York City Jewelry Week, the community market will include Brooklyn jewelry designers showing off their techniques, materials and design styles. You’ll be able to learn more about contemporary jewelry in Brooklyn and pick up some gifts well before the holiday market season gets into full swing. Among the designers participating are Sarah Dolecki, Ope Omojola, Alecia Wesner and Willam Yang.

The day will also include a panel discussion and a chance to tour the studios of Casey Sobel and Carrie Bilbo, two artists based at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

The market takes place on Saturday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at BLDG 92 at 63 Flushing Avenue. It’s free, but space is limited so registration is recommended. For more information or to register, click here.
