The former Secretary of State and New York State Senator will give the commencement speech to Medgar Evers College graduates on June 8 at Barclays Center. She will also receive an honorary doctorate degree from the school, which Clinton visited in the run-up to the New York State primary election last year.

Clinton has been spotted in the borough numerous times in recent years, such as when she visited Montague Street in May of 2015. The former First Lady and husband Bill also dined at Roberta’s in Bushwick in 2012.

Clinton will not be the only past presidential candidate giving a commencement speech in Brooklyn this year. Brooklyn’s own Bernie Sanders will return to speak at Brooklyn College’s commencement in May.
