Higher Hudson Tolls Approved; East River Next?
The New York Times is reporting that the board of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey just moments ago approved some fairly major hikes for Hudson River crossings. At this rate, it’s hard to see how the East River bridges stay free forever. Thoughts?

the Port Authority is way over budget with Ground Zero construction including that hugely overdesigned memorial. They are sucking money away from everywhere else including the airports. And the airports make a lot of money for the PA. I hope everyone loves the memorial and museum when it opens.
