Take in a bit of preservation knowledge along with some fresh air on a walking tour through Green-Wood Cemetery with a restoration expert.
Join Neela K. Wickremesinghe, Green-Wood’s Robert A. and Elizabeth Rohn Jeffe Director of Restoration and Preservation, for tales of favorite restoration projects and a glimpse into how the team cares for the graves of the 570,0000 permanent residents. The tour is part of a larger series led by Green-Wood’s staff, sharing their rich knowledge of the history, art and nature to be found at the historic cemetery.
The tour takes place on Saturday, May 15 at 11 a.m. Tickets are $30 for the general public and $25 for Green-Wood members. For more information and to purchase a ticket, visit the event page.
