yeh, I found the place to be extremely strange.. you would pass by the place at 11 o clock on a saturday and it looked like a night club… At 5 o clock at night you would walk by again and it was all dark with neon lights inside and people wearing tuxedos.. It might have done better in Las Vegas
What happened to Restaurant of the Day?
Hey- does anyone know what’s happening to the old L’Epicere space? It was supposed to become some place called Baggeoutdit, but it doesn’t look like that’s panning out. Nothing’s been done.
I thought the loud music was an issue. It was like you are in a night club while having dinner. I hope the new place offers a better atmosphere.
The decor was poor, but don’t over look the menu as a reason. I am not sure what would constitute Nigerian cuisine, I can say I have never craved it and when I looked at the prices on the EN menu I went somewhere else.
I hope the new place is better, there aren’t enough places to eat in the area as it is and when four or five of them are poor it is really limiting.
I’d say for 90% of the people in the neighborhood, the decor was one of the major reasons EN failed. Hilarious that they kept it the same.
I forecast a similar fate.
best way to enter the biz – a turn key situation like this. Hope their stuff is good.
