Sad story about the Boerum Hill bench sitter getting struck and killed. Those ambulette drivers are way worse than any NYC cab driver. I almost got killed crossing with the light by an ambulette. Literally the passenger in the ambulette as well as other pedestrians were screaming hysterically when they realized he was about to hit me. He was totally oblivious.Actually touched my legs with the bumper, knocked me down and took off. Luckily I was fine but well shaken.
