Geese Are Back in Prospect Park [AYITP]

Pete, the link above notes that geese have already started to return to the park, thus proving that the trap-and-kill program is ineffectual; new geese will just show up to fill the void left by the previous ones. it’s just a big waste of time.
Pete, this doesnt enhance any street cred for her
do you wonder if these are publicity stunts(foxybrown) – to sell more tix
thought Foxy was older than 30. guess she hung it up pretty young – ie at 24?
I don’t know about crass – she’s just deranged. We do not need more deranged people in NYC.
Foxy Brown is an embarassment to herself and others. Here’s someone who was given (dubious) talent, and the ability to better herself, and go places, do things, and make the kind of money most people only dream about. What does she do? Stupid behavior that lands her in jail, time and again. I applaud her neighbor for not putting up with her just because she’s a celeb, or because she’s a first class b*itch. Somehow I bet her cell mates won’t be impressed either.
wrong legs,
the geese that take up habitat here are not migrating. They no longer have that instinct.
You can blame Canada for lot of things but not this.
It’s too bad about the geese coming back. Years ago there used to be multiple duck species in the park, but the geese just crowded them out until there were only a handful of mallards left. I was hoping that getting rid of this aggressive invasive species would allow other birds to reestablish themselves.
guess what? you can’t get rid of the geese. they live here too. and unless we team up with canada to make the breed extinct, they will keep coming back.
