Fort Greene Park Dance Party Fundraiser Next Week!

Last year’s Dance Craze party for the Fort Greene Park Conservancy was a rare occurrence — a fundraiser that was actually fun! (Really fun: Check out pix here.) Over three hundred people bought tickets to help fund the park’s many entertainment and children’s programs and in return had a great night of dancing, eating and drinking. Well, it’s time for Dance Craze II. This year’s bash is being held on October 20th at the brand-new Roulette space on Atlantic and 3rd Avenue and features music from the bluesman Gary Clark Jr. and DJ Duane Harriott in addition to a wide range of raffle prizes, including a night at the Greenwich Hotel. (Staycation, anyone?) To sweeten the pot, we’re going to throw in a free Brownstoner t-shirt to the next fifty people who buy tickets.
