The Trilok Fusion Center for Arts and Education at the corner of Waverly and Myrtle avenues opened a plant nursery and farmers market on the adjacent lot along Myrtle Avenue. The nursery is open on weekdays from 4 pm to 8 pm and on weekends from 9 am to 6 pm. The market is open on Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm. Local farmers are selling pickles, fresh produce, baked goods and the like. Apparently live music by local bands will be a regular feature at the yard as well. Just last week we heard that Oaxaca Taqueria was opening a commercial kitchen at the arts center and plans to operate a food truck on that corner. GMAP

  1. My wife and I dropped by this past Sunday. What a beautiful place! Flowers, butterflies (not for sale), a wonderful selection of breads (the pumpkin was excellent) and nice people. highly recommended.
