A sit-down Middle Eastern joint called Fez looks like it will open soon on Franklin between Eastern Parkway and Lincoln. The spot at 798A Franklin Avenue has a liquor license for wine that was approved on September 12. Owner Ari Aviv, who also owns the yogurt place next door, told Prospect Heights Patch that the restaurant will serve falafel, hummus, a Tunisian grilled eggplant dish, and other vegetarian dishes. From what I could see peeking in , looks like they did a nice decorative job on the small interior, and seem to have been done with the buildout for some time now. Just eagerly waiting now for those falafel balls to get rolling.
