Menu items include kale salad, crisp pork belly, a meatloaf sandwich and a cauliflower steak, according to an item in the Times. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, workers told us when we stopped by this morning. Click through to see the interior. Anyone tried it yet?

Update: We just got hold of a menu. Kale salad, salmon rillette, and crispy pork belly are some of the small plates. Entrees are the meatloaf sandwich, a shellfish dish, chicken breast, roasted cauliflower steak, and braised short rib. There are five sides of vegetables, including brussels sprouts, blistered peppers, quinoa salad, and a market vegetable board. There is also a small late-night menu with biscuits and gravy, among other things, and dessert includes milk and cookies and a carrot cupcake. Entrees are $14 to $17.
Between this place and the new French place opening soon on Malcolm X, I’m optimistic!
Awesome food this place is a great addition to a this neighborhood.. I know they are going to do very well!
Mr. Moonface, they had a soft opening on Friday AND Saturday. They served lunch AND dinner on Tuesday. Yes, I’ve eaten there twice. How about no connection, but just happy to see something nice in the neighborhood???? You should come and support. Be a bit more positive 🙂 enjoy your day.
Went last night. Fabulous food, modestly priced. Excellent service. Eugene and Co leading the way!
Fantastic addition to Tompkins Avenue corridor. I’ve eaten there twice since opening. Food is fantastic. Customer service is fantastic. Design aesthetic is sophisticated. Eugene & Co joins other incredible businesses on that strip. Bed-vyne wine, Bed-vyne Brew, sincerely tommy, common ground coffee shop, crocus, peaches hothouse, keep them coming. Go Bed-Stuy.
Unusually good veggie selection
Yes RH you will be fine…

I agree! I have a property on Hancock near Tompkins. We need something more than Hothouse! 🙂
