Brooklynites poured outside to view the partial solar eclipse as it hit the city Tuesday afternoon.
Although the boro wasn’t in the path of the total eclipse, Brooklynites were still treated to a partial eclipse — about 70 percent of the sun’s visible disk was covered.
Some viewers took the warnings to protect their eyes seriously. Some wore special glasses or peered through filtered telescopes or other creative devices, including cereal box viewers and colanders.
