Signage has gone up at 507 Myrtle Avenue for Fork, a salad/sandwich/breakfast joint that Myrtle Minutes says should open today. Anybody stop by? Myrtle Minutes also notes that SoCo, the Cajun restaurant on the same block between Grand and Ryerson that we checked in on in March, should be opening this month as well. Update: Thanks to a commenter, who tells us Fork is confirmed open.

  1. blowfish, thai in general in clinton hill/ft greene ranges from sucks to barely OK. the Joya offshoot (National) in ft greene is good but even that one is barely good

  2. When I looked into the new Thai 101 it seemed to have a full bar up front. Are they just BYOB until they get their liquor license approved?

  3. You’re welcome! I’m going to head up to Classon later to see if Wicked Dogs, the new hot dog joint is open.

And strange, I never noticed Thai 101’s expansion. I only ate there once (I’m usually more of a Maggie Brown patron to be honest) but I guess they wanted more dining room.

  4. Blayze, thank you, I will add in an update!

BrooklynZoo: I was actually planning on checking out that Thai place today and maybe running a post later this week. From what I understand it seems the two places are related…..

  5. I have no idea what is going with all those Thai places. The owners of Thai 101 own at least 3 maybe 4 Thai restaurants all on Myrtle within 4 blocks of each other. I don’t get it.
