I ate there a few days before Christmas. The food was okay and our server nice, but it took forever to get and mine was wrong and parts of it were cold. I think they’re still working out the kinks. But I’d rather a diner than any of the other things that have been in that space in the last five or six years since I moved to that block.

I ate there last week. I live around the corner. It’s more of a coffee shop than a dinner.

but real diner food is SUPPOSED to be greasy, inconsistent, and relatively cheap!!!

I guess what I am hoping for is a clean new place with have way consistent food that manages to stay clean for a couple of months.
I like the Daisie Dinner at 5th Ave. bet, 9th & 10th.
Fifth Ave Dinner is pretty good.
