Demo Soon for City Tech's Klitgord Building

Demolition’s coming soon for City Tech’s Klitgord building on the corner of Jay and Tillary streets. In April the DOB approved permits for a full building demolition, and there are a bunch of signs up on the building for asbestos abatement and pest baiting. Interior demolition began here in January. Back then the DOB disapproved plans for a new eight-story build — and they still haven’t issued the school new building permits. The building, which will house new facilities for the science and clinical health programs, a new theater, a wellness center and athletic facilities, should look like this.
