Four of the 3/7/25 Brooklyn Life/In the News links are to sites where payment is required to view the articles: 3 links to articles on The Real Deal and 1 link to an article on Brooklyn Daily Eagle.
Maybe you should put “pay site” after these links?
Probably half the sites we typically link to require a subscription, including the NYTimes, WSJ, Daily News, NY Magazine, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Dwell. The Brooklyn Daily Eagle is usually free to read.
The paywalls are annoying, but not a reason to not post links to articles of interest. I subscribe to a few of the sources and might otherwise miss something I’d like to read.
