Court Street Grocers Coming to Carroll Gardens [Brownstoner] GMAP
I had the turkey club today and it was totally great! My friend had the reuben and was also very happy. They had a great cheese selection and a bunch of prepared foods. Definitely going back soon!
I tried the free samples on Halloween and they were delicious! I had a Reuben, carrot cake and rugula. Definitely will go back.

actually, we don’t have any specialty grocers down there.
…
ding ding ding
I guess if you count the CG end of Smith he kinda sorta has a point, but def no overpriced specialty stores on that portion of Court.
Not my cup of tea but there must be some pressing need to have a shithole Chinese every 15 blocks or so. Seriously, they are literally all over the place, always nasty crappy (NOT all Chinese takeout, just saying every micronabe has one that is a shithole), and they never ever go out of business.
actually, we don’t have any specialty grocers down there. that is unless you count Gourmet Fresh. Which you shouldn’t. And Caputos doesn’t count because it is in a league of its own.
on halloween they were open and giving stuff away to anyone who stopped in. so at least on that day nothing at all was overpriced. and the people working there were very nice.
now i wish someone would do something about that shithole chinese food place across the street.
Oh yeah, you say Carroll Gardens, everyone thinks teeming with high priced specialty grocer. Every time.
just what the nabe needs, another high priced specialty grocer. zzzzz
