The sandwich board outside Court & Spark, the Carroll Gardens bar on Court Street near the corner of 9th, informs that this is the business’s last week of operation. Folks who work there say its last night will be Sunday and that it’s closing because the building has a new owner. The bar opened about two-and-a-half years ago. Sad to see it go? GMAP

No this situation can only be explained by absolute stupidity on behalf of the proprietor. Anyone who opens a new retail business on a short term lease is a moron.
I have never been in the place but who opens a business in a leased store with a 2.5 yr lease????
