Colonie Opens on Atlantic Avenue
This weekend we passed by a very busy Colonie, the new seasonal restaurant at 127 Atlantic, at Henry. Wine Bar and Restaurant for Atlantic [Brownstoner] GMAP
Stopped in on Saturday night for a glass of wine, which I enjoyed. They said they had opened the previous night. Looks like they have nice snacks and a few entrees. Should be a nice addition to this stretch of Atlantic.
The space looks nice–I have no context with what it might have looked like before because it’s been empty for the 3 years I’ve lived nearby.
Reservationless on Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend and I walked by last night and were delighted to see that Colonie was open–and that there was open seating at the kitchen-side bar. We had a really lovely meal (delicious scallops!), and enjoyed chatting with the super friendly waitstaff and chef. I’d definitely go back, and can’t wait until they open for brunch!
