We’ve got a bunch of new vendors starting at The Flea this weekend. Mark Hodson will be showing off his designer vintage clothing collection; West Village mainstays Castor + Pollux will be crossing the river to hold a sample sale; Maya Coppola will be hawking her cool jewelry designs. Also in the yard: new local literary publication Slice Magazine, Red Hook-based 4 Korners furniture design and vintage dealer Marilyn Hitchcock. For more details on Sunday’s line-up, check out this post. Flea hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday; it’s located at 176 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn; no bikes or dogs allowed in the market. Closest trains are the C and G to Washington/Clinton. Or you can take any of the number of trains that go to Atlantic Station and make the 10-minute stroll up Lafayette Avenue from there. Also this weekend, Brownstoner bro-in-law Alex Vlack and his co-director Damani Baker will be capping off an eight-year film project called Still Bill about legendary musician Bill Withers by filming the Withers Tribute Concert on Saturday night at the Prospect Park Bandshell as part of Celebrate Brooklyn.
