A new blog called Upstater is chronicling Upstate New York’s real estate scene. The content is likely to interest folks on the market for a second home and/or make Brooklynites jealous about how much house you can get for your buck up north. So far there are posts on properties like the five-bedroom Victorian shown above, which is two hours away from the city and listed for $329,000, and a farmhouse for sale “in the Greenpoint of Upstate New York” (that would be Durham/Cornwallville, and it’s yours for $134,500). There are also write-ups on cultural happenings, like a reading series in the Catskills.
