The L Magazine has complied The Brooklyn Neighborhood Power Rankings, a listicle based on “criteria like food and drink, accessibility, culture, infrastructure, affordability, and our deeply held prejudices about the time we’ve spent there.” The top three? Greenpoint, Clinton Hill/Fort Greene, and Ditmas Park. Those outside the top 12? Neighborhoods that include Borough Park, Downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island. The blog Sheepshead Bites (Sheepshead Bay was ranked #28) feels a little dissed, noting: “We have tons of awesome restaurants. Hello? Brennan & Carr, Roll-n-Roaster, Il Fornetto, Randazzo’s, Del Mar, Mei Mei’s Chinese Kitchen, Anatolian Gyro, Jay & Lloyd’s, Chicken Masters, Jordan’s Lobster Dock, Clemente’s, Maria’s Restaurant, Wheeler’s… do I even need to continue?” They’ve got a point!
