Closing Bell: Taste of Sheepshead Bay

Brooklyn foodies who have never ventured to Sheepshead Bay will have the opportunity to sample 20 of the neighborhood’s best culinary offerings at the Taste of Sheepshead Bay this Thursday. Try classic Italian fare from Il Fornetto, cannoli and tarts from T&D Bakery or kebabs from Anatolian Gyro.

Sponsored by Coney Island Hospital and Il Fornetto, the event will also feature Japanese fusion, Turkish, Uzbek, Russian and Chinese food. Check out all the enticing restaurants here and buy tickets here. Doors will open at 7 pm at the Knights of Columbus at 3000 Emmons Avenue, and there will be a cash bar and live music. Tickets cost $30 online and $35 at the door.
